The purpose of SkipSquad is to establish a progressively educational program based on developmentally appropriate physical activity that will improve the health, wellness, and sporting experiences of all youth participants using jump rope as the model and design as the means. The skills in the SkipSquad program were based on how kids progress through the skill levels in the sport. As a child achieves more jump rope skills through the levels, he or she builds through foot coordination, hand coordination, and overall body movement. The program was built to allow a participant to work at his or her own pace, while still being able to interact with friends regardless of where he or she is in the program.
Musical creative freedom has been held back by the expensive cost and inflexibility of professional recording studios. Garage bands, solo performers, and touring acts have limited access to the professional audio recording quality that is normally achievable in a professional setting. As a result, audio creatives are not as free to explore and develop their work as they could be. There have been few past attempts at designing a solution to this problem, which has left audio creatives with only makeshift options.
As a collapsible, low-cost option Reverb not only fits into the typical garage band budget, but also into their space as well. All the parts of the Reverb Constructible Sound Recording Room slide together by use of a system of channels. The extruded parts are made of lightweight plastic to minimize the burden on the user. Reverb provides audio creatives with the freedom to create again.
Vive is an interrelated beekeeping service and beehive, harmonious in purpose and form, that aims to educate new beekeepers and remedy gaps between knowledge and application.
Humans rely on bees to pollinate 70% of the staple crops that provide 90% of the world’s food. Unfortunately, numbers of wild and domestic honeybees have drastically decreased within the past three decades due to pollution, disease, pesticides, and natural habitat loss. This decrease contributes to a potential loss of fruits and vegetables that are vital to the human diet. Vive demonstrates the connection between bee health and food supply while informing users about the environmental concerns associated with bee population loss. This beekeeping system increases awareness among Vive users in hope to generate greater action toward environmental efforts on all fronts.
The nucleus of this beekeeping system is the Vive Hive. Aspiring beekeepers purchase the beehive and begin a one year membership with Vive to connect with a mentor and learn to keep bees. Vive members can monitor their bee colony, schedule appointments with mentors, and learn new information through the Vive App.
OHM Modular Headphones
Music has become prevalent to the point of near omnipotence in the role it plays throughout one’s day. Just as it has always been capable of, music can determine our state of immersion as well as awareness. The use cases now affected by our music experience extend all the way from the bedroom to the locker room, from the cubicle to the couch, and nearly every space in-between. Our music is just as centric to our personal identities as it’s ever been. What OHM seeks to do, is to bridge the gap in between those use cases. Whereas current consumer lifestyles necessitate various specific headphone devices, OHM, as a singular device is able to switch between a more mobile, lightweight configuration, and seamlessly transform into a higher fidelity, comfort-focused configuration.
Epilepsy is a seizure disorder that affects 65 million people globally. 60% of these individuals happen to be children under the age of 15. While the side effects of epilepsy are vast, a large portion of problems revolves around safety, particularly head safety during seizure induced falls. Currently, a small amount of epilepsy safety helmets exist on the market. Unfortunately these helmets are uncomfortable, bulky, retain too much heat, and stigmatize the children wearing them. When interviewed, some parents stated that, along with epilepsy, their children also suffered from self-esteem issues and depression. Thus they needed a new helmet that would provide physical safety while catering to these emotional needs. The Dura hat aims to destigmatize epilepsy for children by providing unique features for customization and catering to their individual needs. Mimicking the form of the traditional baseball cap, Dura provides reassurance for both parents and children. Other key components include a medical ID badge, an adjustable dial for customized fit, breathable materials, and modular connections for attachment of safety accessories.
Capsul, Modular Clothing Storage for Tiny Living
Capsul is the result of research into three distinct pathways: Home Storage,Trends in Reduction of Material Goods, and Micro/Tiny Living. Those who choose to reduce their wardrobe size, or to live in tiny spaces, do not have the space or need for traditional full-scale storage solutions.
Capsul incorporates methods (rolling items that don’t require hanging, reducing unnecessary items), hardware (the wardrobe frame and inserts), and accessories (baskets, rolling aids, hangers), to create a system that provides both visibility and quick access without clutter.
Capsul’s modularity is the result of a unique four-way connecting bar, which allows for endless adaptations. Three inserts are currently proposed, but there is the possibility of additional design functionality (such as shelving and accessory storage).

A food distribution service designed to make locally grown foods more accessible by working with local farmers to help them sell and transport their harvest. Produce would be driven directly into high need neighborhoods such as food deserts, and elderly communities, as well as city centers, grade schools and colleges.
The truck makes the transport and sale of fresh produce much more convenient for a farmer than the alternative of driving and setting up a farmers market or managing a CSA. The purchase of these foods also becomes more convenient and accessible as it would be driven within walking distance of the consumer.

Elepho is a new system which provides a more efficient mode of communication between childcare
providers and parents while reducing the daycare provider’s workload. In most American families with small children, all adults work outside of the home and daycare is usually a necessary option.
Most daycare facilities still employ time consuming paper reports and emails to communication with parents. There is a lapse in time before parents can receive information from the daycare providers about their child. parents experience anxiety due to separation from their children. Daycare providers are beleaguered and overworked, and spend too much time filling out the report rather than attending to the children. Paper reports are hard to keep on file and easily misplaced.

International students pack up a lot of luggage when they depart from home countries. Big-sized suitcases are requisite. Once the students arrive and settle down in their new living places, the big-sized suitcases are no longer needed although they are perfect for transporting a big amount of items, it is almost its only function. In addition, they take up a lot spaces especially for students living in a small apartment. The price of a big-sized suitcase can cost from $150 up to $550. Typically, international students use them once or twice a year when they travel back to their home countries.
The use efficiency of suitcases needs to be improved. International students will set up their new home more easily and no longer need to buy as many furniture. When they need to move, there can be less items for them to carry with.
